1. Technical

The curriculum of SJAHI is designed to create a professionally trained Auto Technician with real practical work experience to a standard of 3rd grade Japanese Auto Technician. The general objectives of the technical Curriculum are:

bullet

To educate and train young Saudis to become high qualified Automobile Technicians.

bullet

To develop the knowledge, skills and critical thinking, that are necessary for successful employment into and advancement within the JADIK members in the Kingdom.

bullet

To safely and accurately check automotive system and components by performing inspection maintenance, repair and troubleshooting service procedure according to industry standard.

2. General

The General Curriculum of SJAHI is designed to support and boost its Technical Curriculum and to develop the personality of the trainees in a way that will set him up well-equipped with the ethics of the professionalism. The General Curriculum includes the following:

Applied Sciences (Physics & Chemistry)

bullet

Computer Application

bullet

Character Building & Work Ethics

bullet

Sports and Physical Fitness

On-the-job training

SJAHI not only trains its students in classrooms and workshops but it also provides real-life work experience through On-the-Job Trainings in the JADIK workshops. At the end of the 1st Year (2nd Semester), the trainees are sent to the concerned JADIK workshops for On-the-Job Training for a duration of four (4) weeks of 48 hours/week. And at the end of the 2nd Year (4th Semester), trainees are given On-the-Job Training for a period of 8 weeks of 48 hours/week. Thus the total On-the-Job Training hours, during the course are 12 x 48 or 576 hours.

Diploma

Upon graduating, SJAHI students are awarded a high diploma in Automobile Mechanics and Maintenance, equivalent to the 3rd grade Japanese Auto Technician and to the Diploma given by the technical colleges in the Kingdom.
